Playing Farmville can be very frustrating from time to time. Especially when things don’t work out as you planned or if you just don’t earn money and cash fast enough. In this article I will give some tips and strategies on how to grow your farm as fast as possible

All the mentioned strategies on this page are not cheats. You will not break any of the rules of Farmville or Facebook. If you follow these strategies, however, you will make as many coins as possible in the shortest time possible. You will know what to expect as a return for the amount of time you put in and have inside knowledge of how the game works and how to make the most of this information.

Know your computer habits and plant accordingly

If you leave a plant unharnessed, it will wither in equal amount of time that it took you to grow it. For example, a four hour crop withers four hours after ripening. If you aren’t going to be on the computer 2-4 hours from now, don’t grow blueberries. Try planting wheat or raspberries as they have longer harvest time. Avoid rotted crops as they merely waste your effort and coins.

Make your own graph to organize your crops

The “best crops” to grow are the berries. They award the greatest amount of coins and cost relatively little to plant. The berries’ growing time is very fast as well. This two hour growing period means that you’d have to log in to your Farmville account once every two hours to harvest your crop-do you have the time to do that? It may or may not be the best crop for you.

Furthermore, you may have other aims in mind like mastery of a certain crop or collecting flowers for perfect bunches. Another thing that you have to think about is unlocking of certain crops with each level. There are a lot of graphs available in the game, but most are just awful and quite useful.

Don’t ever, ever buy a tree

If you can get an object as a gift, there is no reason for you to ever purchase it. For instance, Trees can be received as a free gift from your neighbours. Trees are an extremely bad investment of your hard-earned coins specifically if you’re starting out. You will spend 700 coins only to get 40 coins every couple of days??? That’s just not fast enough to keep growing! You can receive them as gifts or give them away to your friends, but never buy it as an investment. You’re better of buying crops for this.

All these tips and strategies I got from a guide called Farmville secrets, and I must say, since I bought the guide I’m enjoying the game far more then ever before. It really made me see the way things work and it gave me insights in how you can use things other people overlook.
