chris.pirillo.com www.facebook.com – This video won’t make much sense unless you compare it directly against the second video (simultaneously recorded with my iPhone 4). I would have to say that while the iPhone 4’s lens produces a sharper video, the iPod touch’s lens seems to have a wider field of view. It’s a toss up, really – and I can’t perceive any clear winner. In interview situations, a wider-angle view always trumps – but who doesn’t like a clear-cut lines in their videos? I wasn’t able to establish clear macro shots due to the way I was holding each device (and I didn’t want to skew results). It should also be noted that this video, as well as the other one, were uploaded without any amount of editing done beforehand. What do you think? twitter.com

Alright mate! I’ve got a bit of a problem you see. I don’t get a lot of icons, I don’t get the icon for my phone, SMS, pictures etc and I got an iPhone 4 as well.

I like the iPod video a lot more than the iPhone video. As he said, the iPod has a wider field of view, which is something I like. Seeing as how I need as much space as I can get to get my fat ass into frame. The Audio on the iPod is a little better, too, than the iPhone’s audio. But of course, these can’t beat a camera specifically made to shoot video. But the iPod seems to be a better alternative to a camera and to the iPhone, since you don’t need AT&T to use an iPod.
