I keep getting an error..”Could not be restored the iphone, The firmware is not compatible”…please help…
I keep getting an error message saying “The iPhone could not be restored. An Unkown error occured (1604). Runing the latest iTunes version and the exact same iOS 4 GM as in the video. What would happen if I download the version from the iTunes site, install it and then run redsn0w? Would this still work?

I have not tried desktop connect as you have to pay but reading description of this app said if you have Vista or Windows 7, sound will stream.

As I understand it, it is not suppose to. It’s just a viewer on my iPad.
My guess is sound would take too much bandwidth and slow everything down especially on 3G network

Interesting discovery. I know for sure the audio won’t come through my iPad or iTouch. I have not tried desktop to desktop remote administration.
im not a 100% sure if this will work ( dont have ipad ) but when i do teamviewer between my laptop and desktop if i want to hear the audio from the desktop i unplug the speakers and it works
