It is as simple as installing the original BUM and uses the same games you already have backed up. Also, you do not need the blue ray disc in the PS3 to play games. Also if you could you help me I just reinstalled iboot with bootlance this time on the new firmware 4.1 and I did the psfreedom the hard way not with iphodroid and it seems to work its just like before… I can even run backup manager or ftp comgeenie… But the problem is when i select a game from backup manager it doesnt show up, it still shows the bluray game disc… Should i try to backup a new game to see if thats the problem or is it just the fact that im running the 4.1 firmware :D?

Seems like i cant jailbreak my ps3 no more it messed it up :'( everytime i hit ftp server i get a black screen i went to normal psfreedom and i get a black screen :'(
the download link for iphone 2g doesnt work anymore.
it doesnt seem to work.. i always get messages like device wait disconnect or device wait ready on my ipod and ps3 boots up normally…it worked perfectly when i followed the original video (i mean ur first vid) any ideas? (im using 1st gen touch and slim 120gb

I downloaded the one for windows iphone 3g, everytime I install the iphodroid at the end the iphone asks me to activate it using itunes. Then Itunes keep asking me to restore the firmware. help pls

@foadysfah hardly any games work mate for hermes v3 on ipod/iphone! f1 2010, kane and lynch 2, dead rising 2, mod nation racers and killzone 2 all work! naughty bear also works if you use flez manager andthe experimental peek and poke andriod img! thats all i know tht works so far
OK finally i booted my ps3… but now the games when i try to launch them from app_home the game starts and then even goes back to xmb OR black screen and nothing. Any fix??? Thanks!
@TheTimeMuffin this happened to me too… I had to do a full restore 🙁 Now i’ll try again to get the files on (i already installed openiboot…) Wish me luck 😛

Put your iphone into restore mode and itunes will tell you to restore your iphone from a backup. Same thing happend to me. Install open iboot manually for the best result, the one click install sucks.
99.9% of games give you a black screen, any updates on a working img for hermesv3?
tried it with iphone 2g files still not working very strange…

I replaced the files from the pack. I try to run the hack, and it never went to the Linux boot screen.
Reset it, same thing.
Now, I try to boot the iphone OS, and I see the apple, but nothing happens.
I think my ipod touch is ruined 🙁

Stay on the first PSfreedom hack with B.M , i think its the best, i dont have any problem with any of the games.
Almost everyone who updated is having problems.
DONT UPDATE to hermes v3, it sucks.
Everytime he release an uptade it gets more and more bugs.
I starting to think he is just experimenting with the PSJB and he dont know shit about coding/programming.
sorry but it makes me angry that he release updates so fast without proper testing.

@killer1one11 fixed it, apparently your link gave me errors, i redownloaded the original iphodroid and replaced it with the hermesv3 image myself, then it worked 😛
…..I get “error on extraction process”…..sorry ive been asking so many questions, but this is really disappointing…ive redownloaded iphodroid since, it keeps failing. same device i used the first time around, so it should be good
