I should add that you do have to click allow to publish and that is what grabs you. So many are free on hitting that ‘allow’ button and don’t even pay attention to it. You can test it for yourself by using one of the gift links they publish that allows it to post to your wall. Search gamers unite gift links, easy to find. When a friend publishes this to their wall there is another button that offers the person sending to also publish to their wall. It is very sneaky.
Agree with zapping the ones using, but your incorrect about people not knowing how they are listed. They can be listed without ever downloading the snag bar. If they have ever liked the page, or used one of the gifting links they will show up on the list. I tested it on my husbands account. Just used one of the gifting links from the wedding tent a while back and poof, he showed up on the list. It automatically liked the page for him. Once I unliked the page he was no longer showing.
