Ha, I used that method to get past the first Brute without firing a shot, but it doesn’t want to work for the 2nd one.
I beat the Brutes (both of them) by running all the way to the end of that tunnel (past the elevator) and getting killed by the necromorph and the baby tentacle things! When I respawned, the brutes were gone and I didnt fight them again! weird :/

@hobo10101010rsmaster i use the force gun, ripper, and a choice then it depends more than likely the pulse rifle that setup kicks ass the ripper was especially handy for the brutes
@cyberplumber10 I use The Seeker Rifle, Pulse Rifle, Line gun, and Javelin Gun cuz they own the S*** out of Necromorphs, I took out those brutes like nothing with the Seeker Rifle
@hobo10101010rsmaster best guns are pulse rifle, plasma cutter, contact beam, and then everything after that is kinda preference, i mean yeah the detonator is nice, but really anything can take its place

@MahaloVideoGames he has a point, you don’t have to aim the entire time. the game was in fact designed to let you aim and shoot without any delay at all.. an enemy popped out of a wall once and I shot him much quicker than if I was already aiming, very easily with just a little bit of alertness.
I even find it slightly irritating that you all rate his comment down instantly and assume he doesn’t know what he’s talking about – maybe you just aren’t a good player? lol
